Olympic Games in London

Son and daughter of Landor S at the Olympics...

Blue Loyd and Nina Braaten winner of World Cup Classes
Blue Loyd * 2000 by Landor S - Hadj A AA - Fair Play; Breeder: Franz Bültmann, Warstein
Casino Berlin, shown under saddle for the first time

We took the Olympic Fire at our stallion show in February. There Sandra Auffarth ran with the Olympic Rings (photo 1, left person). In these days she will start at the Olympic Games in London. She and her gelding Opgun Louvo have best chances to get a medal in eventing. We wish her good luck for the next days.

Furthermore a daughter of Landor S will start in eventing. The Japanese Yakayuki Yumira qualified Latina 43 out of Showtime by Silvio I – Calypso II. Breeder of the mare is K.-O. Jacobs from Bierbergen.

When the eventing will be finished the show jumpers will arrive. A son of Landor S will compete in that class. The Irish show jumper Cian O'Connor will ride Blue Loyd (photo 2) by Landor S.

They were the best team of the Irish Equipe at Aachen's Nations Cup. You can read on Cian O'Connor's website : "Cian believes that Blue Loyd is one of the best horses he has ever ridden (...)."

The 12-year-old Blue Loyd is a son of Landor S - Hadj AA, bred by the Bültmann family from Warstein.
The gelding was in our stable until he was 5 years old. Then Sören Pedersen competed with him successfully up to World Championships for Young Horses.
He was sold to Nina Braaten then. The lady rider particpated for Norway, at European Championships for example (photo and video).
In the end of 2011 the Irish rider Cian O'Connor got the bay gelding.

Good luck to the riders of all nations, especially all the best wishes to Cian O'Connor and Blue Loyd, Yakayuki Yumira and Latina as well as the two Oldenburger riders, Sandra Auffarth (eventing, riding Casino Berlin on photo 3) and Kristina Sprehe (dressage).
